Hamas and shit.

This whole Palestinian junk has me on the fritz a little, I just don't trust a bunch of radicals in control of a country going ape shit in the Holy Land.

That's right, Hamas won majority in Palestine (from what ive heard, not sure if it's for sure), the prime minister resigned, and I had the slightest laugh when I thought about what Ariel Sharon is gonna say when he wakes up from that coma deal.

There goes the "roadmap to peace". We have Iran wanting nukes, and now a bunch of berserk lunatics are in control of Palestine. That and they're fenced in by the Israeli's. They ain't gonna like that.

Iraq, I don't worry so much about. I think/hope if we see it through to the endthat it'll all work out.

The biggest question is, what the fuck? Why can't we all just get along?

I'm done with my political rant. In other news im sick. Bunk.

I've thought about it in the past, but I'm seriously considering joining up in the future. I love this country for it's greats and it's flaws and i'm willing to defend it, my family, and my friends.

We out.

I actually kind of agree with Joe, lol. Like, I know I have no power over what you do, but I don't want you to join up. I'd miss you too much!!

ariel sharon isn't gonna wake up.
but if he did,
he'd say exactly what israel is saying without him:
we're not gonna have peace talks with terrorists
but we'll keep the cease fire until they break it.

iran might not be as much as a problem as i thought, because they say their nuclear program is gonna be used for power only, and will be heavily monitored. as it stands, they say they're willing to negotiate on it. russia volunteered to refine the uranium and take all the waste so iran only gets the necessary product and nothnig that could be used to make dirty bombs.

the big problem is having an army, if something does happen. iraq is being handled like nam, and in nam no exit strategy = gettin dangerously overstretched, suffering big losses, and being forced to withdraw before the job was done.

terrorists are on a hot streak right now, america is not. any gambler will tell you to clear your shit off the table when somebody else gets hot, cause you can't play big if you can't play.

but for you, think abotu college first. you have a couple years. will you be able to vote in 2008?

yeah, as of June 15th 2008 I will be, actually.

I like that Iran is negotiating but what if they turn on us and don't let inspectors in like Iraq pulled? Then it's gonna be sanctions, or another "Shock and awe"

I'm kinda suspicious of Iran still though...I mean other than oil rigs and whatnot...what do they have that they need that kind of power for?

then i'd say vote first. see what happens.

iran needs power for development. they wanna become a modern country with an economy that isn't based on selling oil. i guess i respect that. i do think it's possible that they could get frustrated and just go apeshit and kick everybody out, but right now they wanna set up laws that they can obey and the UN can agree with at the same time. until they break the rules, we can't justify acting against them.
